USHF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. We rely heavily on support

lives of individuals with and without disabilities through cycling.

Challenge Alaska
The USHF has worked with Challenge
Alaska for the last 7 years on the Sadler's
Ultra Challenge. In 2006, the USHF also partnered with "Challenge"
to run the handcycling race at the National
Veteran's Wheelchair Games. As an official nonprofit partner
of the USHF, Challenge Alaska helps promote and grow handcycling
by utilizing its prominent position in the adaptive sports community. |

U.S. Paralympics
A division of the United States
Olympic Committee (USOC), U.S. Paralympics coordinates the
preparation and selection of athletes to U.S. Paralympic
Teams, both summer and winter, in conjunction with pertinent
National Governing Bodies (NGBs) and other partner organizations.
U.S. Handcycling is pleased to partner with U.S. Paralympics
for the 2007 Rocky
Mountain Omnium, the 2007 U.S.
Paralympics National Road Championship

Veterans of America The
PVA and U.S. Handcycling have worked together for years through
the PVA publication, Sports
'n Spokes. This year, we have expanded that relationship,

and title sponsor of the Redlands Bicycle Classic in Southern,
CA, the kick-off event for the U.S. Handcycling Series. They

Services
Thanks to HealthNet Federal Services,
the U.S. Handcycling Criterium Championships were made possible
this year in Arlington, VA at the CSC Invitational, where the
handcycle race has a specific focus on disabled veterans. |

in 2007, USHF members will have access to discounts through
new retail partner, REI. One of the nation's leading consumer
coopeartives, REI sells outdoor gear and sporting goods via

Federation
The USHF is a member of the newly-formed, World Handcycling
Federation (WHF). The WHF facilitates international competition
that caters not only to elite athletes, but competitors who
otherwise do not have an opportunity to compete on their country's
National [Paralympic] Team. |
